Simple Goat Milk Soap

Goat Milk conditions the skin and is highly moisturizing. It contains alpha hydroxy acids such as lactic acid which help remove dead cells from your skin's surface. The process leaves new cells on the surface of your skin that are smoother and younger looking. It also contains many vitamins, but is particularly high in Vitamin A, which is necessary to repair damaged skin tissue, and maintain healthy skin.The cream that is present in goat milk helps boost the moisturizing quality of goat milk soaps.
Just as honey and olive oil, goat milk is a great old time ingredient to keep in your beauty arsenal.

You can make simple goat milk soap very easily and in just 10 to 15 minutes. You will need the following ingredients :

2. Color ( Any)
3. Fragrance (Any)
4. Microwave (or double boiler)
5. Mold (Any)
6. Stirrer

Steps

1. Melt 100 gm of Goat Milk Melt and Pour Soap Base in the microwave or double boiler.
2. Add your preferable color (few drops) and fragrance (< 2 gm) to it.
3. Stir it and slowly pour it into the mold.
4. Let the soap dry. After the soap has cooled down, turn the mold over and pop it out.


Your Goat Milk Soap is ready in just 4 simple steps :)

It also helps in restoring collagen in your body which is responsible for skin firming and prevents pre mature ageing of skin.

There are numerous ways to use orange peel powder on your skin. One of them is by making orange peel powder soap. In this tutorial, we will teach you how to make this awesome soap for your skin.

You will need the following ingredients :

1. Transparent Melt and Pour Soap Base
2. Ultra White Melt and Pour Soap Base
3. Orange Peel Powder
4.  Soap Mold
5. Onam Orange Fragrance
6. Orange Color
7. Stirrer
8. Microwave (or double boiler)

Steps

1. For the first layer, melt 50 gm of ultra white melt and pour soap base.
2. Add 1 gm of orange peel powder to it and mix.
3. Add 1 gm of onam orange fragrance and 2 drops of orange color to it and pour it into the mold.
4. Now for the second layer, melt 50 gm of transparent melt and pour soap base.
5. Add 1 gm of orange peel powder to it and mix.
6. Add 2 drops of orange color and 1 gm of onam orange fragrance to it.
7. Spray the first layer with rubbing alcohol to make sure that the second layer adheres to it. 8. Let the soap dry. After the soap has cooled down, turn the mold over and pop it out.

Tutorial 6 : How to use Oven Top Stove Melter (STMOT)


How to Use Oven Top Stove Melter (STMOT)

A lot of customers have requested us to upload a tutorial on how to use oven top stove melter displayed on our website. The oven top stove melter is used to melt the soap base and can melt up to 3 kg of soap base at a time.


Here's how to use it :

Steps

1.  First put 300 gm of water with the help of a beaker through the water inlet.


2. Cut the soap base into small pieces and place it inside the oven top stove melter.


3. Cover the water inlet with the help of the cap.


4. Place the melter on the stove on medium flame and stir the soap base as and when required.


5. Turn off the stove when the soap base has completely melted. Do not boil it.


6. Add color and fragrance to it and pour it into a beaker (or directly in the mold).


7. Pour the soap base into the mold and let it cool.

With so many benefits of activated charcoal, it's hard not to put a tutorial on how to make activated charcoal soap. With melt and pour soap making technique, it is extremely easy to make this wonderful soap. Let's see how.

You will need the following ingredients

1. Transparent Melt and Pour Soap
2. Activated Charcoal
3. Glycerin
4. Soap Mold
5. Rubbing Alcohol
6. Microwave (or double boiler)
7. Stirrer
8. Blackberry fragrance (or any other as per your choice)

Steps

1. Mix 1 teaspoon of activated charcoal in 1 gram of glycerin and keep it aside.
2. Now melt 100 gm of transparent melt and pour soap  base.
3. Add the activated charcoal and glycerin mixture to it and stir slowly.
4. Add 2 gm of blackberry (or any other) fragrance to it.
5. Slowly pour it into the mold and let it dry.
6. After the soap has cooled down completely, pop it out from the mold.


Your Activated Charcoal Soap is ready !!!

Tutorial 4 : Rose Petals Melt and Pour Soap

Rose Petals Melt and Pour Soap

It is extremely easy to make rose petals melt and pour soap. Rose petals are known to contain anti-oxidants and are also said to be mind anti-depressant and mood enhancing agent. Adding rose petals to soap gives the soap a luxurious look besides making the skin glow with its wonderful properties.

To make Rose Petals Melt and Pour Soap, you will need the following ingredients

1. Ultra White Melt and Pour Soap Base
2. Loaf Mold
3. Crinkle Cutter
4. Rose Fragrance
5. Rose Petals
6. Rubbing Alcohol
7. Microwave (or double boiler)
8. Stirrer

Steps

1. Melt 1 kg of ultra white melt and pour soap base and add 20 gm of rose fragrance to it. Stir it.
2. Add a few rose petals (approx 10) to it and stir.
2. Pour the mixture into the loaf mold.
3. As soon as you pour the mixture, sprinkle rose petals over it. Do it quickly as we don't want the soap base to cool down or form a layer on top.
4. After the soap has cooled down completely, turn the mold over and pop it out. You can cut the soap in any shape or size you want. We used a crinkle cutter to the cut the soap bar.

Your Rose Petals Soap is Ready !!!

Tip : Make these soaps as fresh as possible because rose petals might go brown in soap (eventually).

Tutorial 3 : Lavender Buds Melt and Pour Soap

Lavender Buds Melt and Pour Soap

To make Lavender Buds melt and pour soap, you will need the following ingredients

  1. Transparent Melt and Pour Soap Base
  2. Ultra White Melt and Pour Soap Base
  3. Loaf Mold
  4. Crinkle Cutter
  5. Violet Color
  6. Lavender Fragrance or Lavender Essential Oil
  7. Lavender Buds
  8. Rubbing Alcohol
  9. Microwave (or double boiler)
  10. Stirrer

Steps

  1. Melt about 250 gm of ultra white soap base. Add 2.5 ml of lavender fragrance to it and pour it into the loaf mold. Spray the top of the layer with rubbing alcohol to eliminate any air bubbles present.
  2. For the second layer, melt about 250 gm of transparent soap base. Add violet color and 2.5 ml of lavender fragrance to it. Spray the first layer with rubbing alcohol to make sure that the second layer adheres to it. Pour the second layer and spray the top of the layer with rubbing alcohol to eliminate any air bubbles present.To know how to do layering with melt and pour soap bases, check out our video on layered melt and pour soap here.

  3.  For the third layer, melt about 250 gm of white soap base. Add 2.5 ml of lavender fragrance        to it. Pour the third layer and spray it with rubbing alcohol to remove any air bubbles                  present. Now quickly add the lavender buds on the top of the layer.

 

 4. For the final layer, melt 175 gm of transparent soap base. Add 1.75 ml of lavender fragrance       to it. Again spray the third layer for the two layers to adhere and pour the fourth layer. Spray     it with rubbing alcohol to remove any air bubbles present. Let it cool completely before taking       the soap out of the mold.
5. After the soap has cooled down completely, turn the mold over and pop it out. You can cut        the soap in any shape or size you want. We use a crinkle cutter to cut the soap bar.
   Your wonderful lavender soap bar is ready!!!

TIP : Make these soaps as fresh as possible because lavender buds do go brown in soap (eventually).

Tutorial 2 : Choco- Vanilla Melt and Pour Soap

Choco-Vanilla Melt and Pour Soap

To make Choco-Vanilla melt and pour soap, you will need the following ingredients :

1. Transparent Melt and Pour Soap Base
2. Ultra White Melt and Pour Soap Base
3. Brown Color
4. Chocolate Fragrance
5. Vanilla Fragrance
6. Soap Mold
7. Microwave (or double boiler)
8. Rubbing Alcohol Spray
9. Stirrer
10. Scraper
11. Microwave Safe Tumbler

Now let's start making the deliciously awesome soap!

Steps

1. Melt 30 grams of transparent melt and pour soap base in the microwave (or double boiler ) and add 4 drops of brown color to it. Add 1 ml of chocolate fragrance and pour it into the soap mold.
2. Take out the brown soap from the mold when it is fully hardened. Now, cut it into small pieces or in whatever design you like.


3.  Spray the brown soap chunks with rubbing alcohol and place them into the mold. Make sure you fill the mold till the top with these chunks.

4. Melt the ultra white melt and pour soap base in the microwave (or double boiler) and add 1 ml of vanilla fragrance to it.

5. Pour the white soap base slowly into the mold.Make sure the base is not too hot as it can melt the brown soap chunks. 

Tip :  To ensure that the base is not too hot, put your finger in the base. If you are able to put it in comfortably, then your base is ready to be poured.



6. Spray the top of the mold with rubbing alcohol to remove any air bubbles present.

7. When the soap is fully hardened, simply press the mold and pop it out. Peel of the top layer with the help of a scraper.

Your yummy Choco- Vanilla Soap is ready to use !!!

Variation : Try using Cocoa powder mixed with Glycerin to color your soap brown. Yummm!!!
